Doctor Who: New Era by DoctorWhoFragments Doctor Who: New Era by DoctorWhoFragments
As most people who, when John-Nathan Turner took over as producer on Doctor Who, he brought in a few changes. Including sticking question marks on the Doctors costume. This story is set just before the episode "The Lesuire Hive" during Tom Baker's final season and attempts to explain when the Doctor himself started doing this.

The brilliant art is done by Jon Wesley Huff. He's a star :) [link]

Awesome! The artwork is superb! This is a great little tale! I've always been a fan of the 4th Doctor's burgundy clothes and its nice to have this bridging the gap between Seasons 17 & 18! Nice work mate! :)

Glad you liked the art! I'm actually a fan of the burgundy outfit. The scarf my friend made me ended up being the burgundy one so I also have an affection for it that way.

I'm not sure where my liking of the burgundy clothing comes from tbh. I just saw it and I did.

One thing I find curious about the way you drew the Doctor in "New Era" is with his scarf wrapped around his neck which is something he only did a handful of times in the show. Most of the time the Doctor had it looped twice...once so it dangled across his chest and the second dangled around near his knees...but for some reason (one I can't explain to you because I can't even explain it to myself) is that I always wanted to see the Doctor wear his burgundy scarf around his neck. A bizarre thing to want to see to be sure...but there you go.

Yeah, he usually did have it all draped about. I tried to do a little of that but with a little more around the neck since it's a transitional comic. :)
